Boobycorn
Genesis
This art toy was born from exploration. In my early years as an Art Toy creator, I was looking to develop a figure that could become a signature piece of my work, but I wanted to stay away from the typical anthropomorphic and cartoonish character.

I felt like playing with shapes, proportions, and clean surfaces, moving toward a more sculptural style. From the beginning, my intention was to produce a small run, so it also needed to work as a base that I could later customize with different designs.

After finishing it, I didn’t quite see it as a piece that represented my brand, but it was well received, and several reproductions were acquired, including some custom commissions. Also, I made CMYK, a Boobycorn based artwork.

Legacy
I like Boobycorn because it’s part of my early steps in the Art Toy scene. It helped me understand how much I enjoyed sculptural language, clean surfaces, and expressive volumes. Even though it didn’t define the style I would follow later on, its lines and movement did mark a step forward in terms of technique and refinement.
